Kim Therese @ 18 - part 2

Today is the second say of our pre-debut shoot for my sister Kim. We did a shoot for a whole day comprising 4 sets in 3 location shoots. For this day's shoot I was really aiming to achieve 4 different sides of Kim.

HMUA             - PAULYN DY
PHOTOGRAPHER   - KLDE JARABELO

Here are some of the photos I took for today.

SET 1 | SAN PEDRO ST., DAVAO CITY

The first set of today's shoot is simple and comfortable. A simple dress paired with a nice sunglasses really makes an impact in her look. This shoot took place in one of the busiest areas of Davao. Kim is just like anyone in the crowd, simple and very humble - yet she has something in her that makes her stand-out without trying. It could be her wit and humor. I wanted to show her uniqueness in a simple way.

SET 2 - CROCODILE PARK GROUNDS

With this set, i want t exemplify Kim's classy side. In lieu of her debut's theme: Travel; i shot her in a vast land which for me i picture as her horizon of travel. Meaning she has a long way ahead of her travels.

SET 3 - CROCODILE PARK GROUNDS / AIRPORT UNDERGROUND

With this set, i just wanted to show the quirkiness and the "rebel" side of Kim. I just styled her with a simple shirt paired with a skater skirt and a pair of high-cut black  converse chuck taylors.

Kim is such a spontaneous and a person who can easily adapt to its environment. She may seem to be maarte or to sosyal for some, but Kim is kalog and very outgoing and adventurous, even though she's afraid of hanging bridges and great heights. Kim also has her rebellious side and grungy character.

SET 4 - AIRPORT UNDERGROUND PASSAGE WAY

This is really a spontaneous one! hehe I just wanted to try shooting on the underground passage way near the airport, but i have no concept or idea in my mind on what to do there. Luckily, Kim has this dress that we haven't done a shoot with, so we decided to make her change and also tried to change her hairstyle to match the dress. It turned out to be beautiful though. Thanks to my supportive team who goes with the flow with my craziness haha

We only used a cellphone flash light to lighten up the area and to do the shoot.
